  • OPTOGENETICS AUSTRALIA 2027 Biology at the Speed of Light Sydney | 17-18 February 2027
  • Join us at the spectacular Macquarie University City Campus for the 5th Optogenetics Australia Meeting, bringing together world-leading researchers, technology developers, industry partners, and emerging scientists from Australia and around the globe. Building on the success of previous Optogenetics Australia meetings, the 2027 conference will showcase the latest advances in optogenetics, neurophotonics, all-optical physiology, functional imaging, photopharmacology, neurotechnology, neuroinformatics, transcriptomics, circuit neuroscience, and synthetic biology.
  • The scientific program will bring together international leaders who are transforming the way we understand, measure, and control biological systems using light. Spanning topics from molecular signalling and receptor engineering to neural circuits, perception, behaviour, and whole-brain analysis, the meeting will highlight how optical technologies are reshaping modern neuroscience and biomedicine.
